Sagem Communications is a part of the Defense and Security business of the SAFRAN group. Basically, we provide the technology on Security Systems & Multibiometrics; Optronics Systems & Optics and; Avionics Systems & Navigation.

Our company has two divisions: Sagem Avionics and Sagem Optronics & Defense. A specialist in inertial navigation technologies, Sagem Avionics develops and produces a vast range of equipment, from small vibrating gyros for vehicles or light weapon systems, to the precision navigation sensors used on nuclear submarines, as well as complete navigation systems.

On the other hand, Sagem Optronics & Defense specializes in infrared atonics, and offers a complete range of systems and equipments from night vision goggles to periscopes on nuclear submarines, as well as atonics pods for weapon systems and aircraft. In addition to this, is a comprehensive range of infrared equipment for detection, warning, terminal guidance, tracking & surveillance, sighting and fire control.
